Our specialty is in raising Hancock and Blue Valentine-bred, using-type quarter horses with family-type personalities.  Our foals will often be gray, bay roan, and blue roan to boot.  Please visit our Foals page to view our performance prospects that are arriving this year.

6 Shoe Quarter Horses is home to a blue roan stallion, Mr Blue Tom Hancock.  We offer both live cover and shipped semen on Mr Blue Tom Hancock.  "Tom" is homozygous for black pigment, and so will never sire a sorrel foal!  See his web page for details.

Why Hancock bloodlines?

Blue Valentine, a grandson of Joe Hancock, was an excellent steer tripping and roping horse.  He is a predominant sire of world-class rodeo and working horses, whose names can easily be found in the Prorodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame along side of their world champion owners, and who have carried their riders to big wins in associations ranging from Little Britches Rodeo to the USTRC.
